I have been trying to get my desktop and laptop to work with the mic and I’m having trouble. I have one other desktop (my oldest daughter’s) that I will attempt to use today. I downloaded audacity with no problems. I will keep trying until it works.

WOOHOO!!! I finally completed the audio podcast! However, I didn’t get the same link as some did and not sure how you get that little download button. Not that I would expect anyone to download, but it will be fun to learn that options. And I put the subscribe link on too! WHEW!!! Happy 4th!!!

I have a question. I’m doing blogger for the class but edublogs for a new vertical team at school. I think I may have set some security to stringent because when I tried to add the blog address to my reader it said there was no feed available.

Does anyone know why I’m getting this message. Also, I wanted to add the rss widgets and couldn’t find that option. I think I should have stuck with trying to get proficient in one thing (any thing). Here’s the site if you have any advice …

Hey guys,
I have searched high and low and can’t find my headset I purchased in Denver before heading out to Puerto Vallarta. Soooo, I am going to do the podcast as soon as I get back to Denver or I might be able to find a headset down here at WalMart or possibly the Mega store (kinda like WalMart) will have the Logitech headset like I just bought. If you have any other suggestions for me….let me know!

I did follow Greg’s advice and opened a Flickr site to post PV pix for you to follow my trip… so check it out!

Internet was very spotty the first two weeks … so possibly I can do more reflecting! Hopefully, I will be able to stay online with connection and power for longer periods of time.

Yes, you are free to use whatever program you want. We just recommend Audacity because it’s free and will be accessible to your students at school. Our hope was that you could become familiar with podcasting regardless of the program used to create the file.

I don’t know if I’m the only person with this problem, but I cannot get Audacity to download properly, so I’m having trouble with the assignment this week. I was wondering if it would be okay to use Garageband instead to create my podcast b/c I already have it on my computer. If there is a solution to the download problem please let me know. My computer won’t even let me access the download site. It keeps timing out. Thanks!
