Debby Acevedo
Debby is an Instructional Technology Specialist at Caldwell Heights Elementary and Bluebonnet Elementary. She has 18 years of classroom experience teaching middle school language arts and 8 years of experience working with instructional technology, all in RRISD. Debby has degrees in English and Speech from Southwestern University and in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University. She is looking forward to providing background assistance to the fantastic course facilitators, watching the growth of a new learning format for RRISD.
Angie Hintz
Angie is an Instructional Technology Specialist at Blackland Prairie and Gattis Elementary. Before coming to Round Rock she taught in International Schools in Korea, Latvia and Zimbabwe. She has 15 years of teaching varying age levels and topics from Title I teacher, classroom teacher in ES and MS to teaching HS Computer courses. Some of her favorite students are the teachers and administrators she has worked with. She is excited to watch and learn with this pilot group of educators!
Nicole Ortega – Facilitator
Nicole is an Instructional Technology Specialist at Cedar Valley Middle School. She is a former math teacher and proud alumnus from the University of Notre Dame. Go Irish!

Greg Smith – Facilitator
Greg is a Round Rock ISD Instructional Technology Specialist. He has served in the education field for 8 years and as a youth minister for 10. He spent his first 5 years in the 4th grade classroom working both as a teacher and Instructional Technology Specialist. He then became a computer teacher for K-5th grade and eventually into his current role with RRISD.
He is excited to participate in the first RRISD online course!

Robin Young – Facilitator
Robin has served as the Instructional Technology Specialist at Ridgeview Middle School for the past seven years. Before that she taught Texas and US History at at C.D. Fulkes Middle School for an additional seven years. Away from school she spends all her time with her almost 3 year old daughter and one year old son. She hopes to learn a lot this summer from participating in the course.
